Super Users can now manage roster permissions for their employees directly in PASS. This means you no longer need to contact PASS support to grant or remove access to the Schedule and Finance areas.
Where to find Roster Permissions
Go to the Settings and Permissions tab on your office page.
Note: This tab was previously called "Dashboard Settings" — it's the same place, just renamed.
You will see a Roster Permissions card on this page, showing a summary of how many employees currently have each type of access.
What permissions can I manage?
There are three types of roster access you can grant or remove:
Schedule View — View the roster schedule, but not make changes.
Schedule Edit — View and edit the roster schedule.
Finance — Access the finance area of the roster.
How to edit permissions
Click the pencil icon on the Roster Permissions card to open the editor.
From here you can:
See who has access — The table shows every employee who currently has at least one roster permission, with a tick against each permission that applies to them.
Add an employee — Use the Add employee dropdown to search for and select an employee. Once added, they will appear as a new row with no permissions ticked. Tick whichever permissions apply.
Change permissions — Tick or untick the boxes for any employee. Changes are not saved until you click Save changes.
Remove all access — Untick all three boxes for an employee. Once saved, they will be removed from the table entirely.
Saving your changes
When you are ready, click Save changes. You will see a summary of all the changes you are about to make before you confirm. You can go back and adjust if needed.
If something goes wrong during saving, an error message will appear and the editor will stay open so you can try again.
To discard your changes at any point, click Cancel. If you have made changes, you will be asked to confirm before they are discarded.
Things to be aware of
You cannot change your own permissions. Your checkboxes will be greyed out — another Super User will need to update your access.
You can only manage employees at or below your own permission level. You will not be able to edit other Super Users above you.
These permissions only affect access to the roster and will not change anything else about an employee's account.
If your office is part of a multi-office setup, permissions will need to be managed separately for each office.
Who can use this feature?
Only Super Users can see and use the Roster Permissions card. Employees with lower access levels will not see it on the page.
